Let this be an invitation to join us here
at Mt. Juneau Inn, surrounded by gardens, wetlands and native carved totem poles,
nestled into the foot of Mt. Juneau overlooking Gastineau Channel, where we offer
country style rooms and a comfortably
furnished one bedroom cottage with kitchen.
All our rooms are named after important animals in the native Tlingit culture, such as the
Raven, Orca and Eagle, and each of
these rooms is decorated with Alaska photographs and native art capturing the animal in its natural environment or
depicting its
mythical powers. The Mt. Juneau Cottage showcases the scenic beauty of Juneau and the many attractions found here.
From here you can walk to
the historic downtown area or borrow one of the Inn's bicycles for a leisurely ride. We're also
happy to help out with a variety of other outdoor gear, including day packs, fishing tackle, etc. and can provide you
with
suggestions, directions and possibly topo maps for your outing.
But before you wander, join
us around the breakfast table where energized conversation and sharing of ideas form
into
Alaskan friendships. A hearty breakfast of home cooked entrees with Karen's wild berry jams and fireweed honey, and
possibly
some of Phil's homemade sausage, with a cup of fresh ground coffee or herbal tea awaits you. Please advise us of any
special
dietary needs and we will do our best to accommodate them, or feel free to use the guest kitchen to prepare your own
meals and
snacks.
Here at Mt. Juneau Inn we
take pride in providing you with the outstanding service, amenities and hospitality that will make
your Alaska visit a relaxed and memorable one.

Two Dutch from
Switzerland - Dear Karen, we thank you for everything during our short stay in Juneau. It felt like
staying
in a friend's house and the breakfasts were the best we had of all the B&Bs.
Pacific Palesades,

comfortable.
Cape Town, South
Africa - Wonderful, the best night I've had since 2 August! Facilities & innovations are great
& you guys

Austria -
We thank you with warmth for the friendly reception in your home. The homelike atmosphere allowed us to feel
especially pleasant. Die "Crazy Motorcyclers" from Austria say good-bye with the very best wishes for the
future.
Connecticut - We felt right at home from the moment we came. All the small
considerations Karen takes to make all
comfortable is far more than we ever experienced at many "top notch" B&Bs. The food is excellent & I
hope I didn't gain an
extra 10lbs. If so, it was worth it!

at.

everything about it.
